Educational Tour
The Bond Educational Tour aims to provide a pro bono rigorous curriculum designed to cultivate student leadership to schools in the Northeast region, as well as to support educators in how to facilitate the dialogue on equity and inclusion. Our goal is to leave a long-lasting impression on the communities we visit by offering unique programming that caters to the needs of each school district. By identifying and engaging with skills embedded in our workshops, both students and educators will be able to identify areas of greatest need in their communities and have the resources to create change. Ultimately, The Bond Educational Group intends to provide schools and communities with the skills to become champions and change agents on issues of educational equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Word is Bond Broadcast
Our Word is Bond Broadcast is an online educational platform that empowers communities of color through knowledge, cultural and social capital and access to robust networks. The mission of the series is to build, strengthen and preserve the community through access, education, guidance and continuous support. Pulling people together and collectively uplifting ourselves, benefits us all – not simply racially, but as better human beings. Historically, mainstream society does not support minority efforts or celebrate successes. If we help one member of our community to succeed in whichever area makes them shine; no matter how diverse or different, then we all stand in the light of the sun.
Center for Advancing Equity
Our Center for Advancing Equity’s diversity, equity, and inclusion service is designed to suit the needs of our partners. While we have a theoretical framework imbued in equity pedagogy, The Bond will study the client’s organization or institution in order to build and adapt policy, strategic plans, administer leadership & staff trainings, employee handbooks, recruitment and hiring, retention and center the culture and climate on equity principles. In addition to providing equity training to our partners, The Bond Educational Group conducts equity audits as another important tool that weaves together the elements of inclusive workplaces.
